2009: Products TicketStumbler Can’t Live Without
Inspired by this post on Techcrunch, we decided to share some of the products we can’t live without here at TicketStumbler Headquarters.
From Dan:
Google Alerts – The poor man’s public relations firm. Besides, how else am I supposed to know when my Might Lions win the Super Bowl?
Gushers - Quite possibly the best fruit snacks ever. If you’re a gusher virgin, the sweet sugar splurge is weird at first, but you get used to it and come to love it.
LightHouse - We used to use FogBugz, but LightHouse stole our hearts away. Intuitive UI, clean design and more importantly, near seamless Github integration.
Skype/Vonage – Land phones are a rip off. Day time minutes too.
AMEX – Customer service in 5 minutes or less. Best rewards.
Amazon Prime – Bye errands.
The Office (BBC Version) - Always hilarious. Sometimes so awkward you need to hit fast forward.
Sam Adam’s Winter Lager – Friday Fundays wouldn’t be the same without it.
Pandora – Use it everyday. The RIAA cburglars really need to embrace it instead of hosing it.
Favtape – Muxtape reincarnated. Works beautifully with Pandora.
White Meat Popcorn Chicken – Late night eating done right.
YouMail – I hate voice mail.
Dropbox – File sharing for the masses.
Gmail – Powers our email. I can’t believe people still use bush league providers like Hotmail and AOL. Wait, yes I can.
Yodlee – Automated personal finance. Keeps track of bank accounts, reward balances, credit cards, student loan, 401ks, stocks and more.
Hacker News – Like Youtube comments but the opposite.
From Tom:
GitHub – An all-around awesome git hosting service.
GitX – Still a ways to go, but already a great git GUI for Mac.
Lighthouse Keeper – Because the desktop isn’t dead yet.
Vim – Still the best editor.
PostgreSQL – Still embarassing MySQL after all these years.
Newman’s Own Pizza – For the cheap and lazy entrepreneur with an evolved taste. Accept no substitute.
