Boston College needs to relax. (ESPN)

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

Detroit has endured for years, but the rest of America has finally gotten Millen’ed. Stupid NBC. (KSK)

Big week in College Football. Break down of tonight’s excellent Fiesta Bowl Matchup here. Can OSU salvage some dignity for the Big Ten? Look for the matchup of program poster boys as OSU MLB James Laurinitis works to contain Texas QB Colt McCoy. Also, an early look at CFB in ‘09. (CNNSI and ESPN)

The Big Lead breaks down yesterday in the NBA, and since everyone was watching football, this is a useful recap. Oh, and LeBron definitely DID travel. (The Big Lead)

Drama in the blogosphere! The always interesting Jason Whitlock sounds off on some things that bugged him in 2008. One of the targets responds here. (Fox Sports and Deadspin)

Too depressed to say much about the weekend that was in the NFL. My Dolphins are still a year or two away, and their lack of depth and talent on offense was exposed for all to see by the ferocious Ravens D. Ed Reed is a manimal. The Cardinals might have just been playing dead as they tanked down the stretch, and they pose an interesting matchup problem for the Panthers, whom they should have beaten earlier in the season. Tavaris Jackson sucks, and its a crime that the Vikings defense and running game were not complimented by any threat of a passing game. Childress needs to go. Matt Ryan finally looked like a rookie, and the NFL’s overtime rules are the dumbest in all of sports.

Dolphins in ‘09.
