Welcome, Stumblers. It’s Monday, which sucks, but we are coming off of a great weekend in sports. While not all of the NFL Divisional games were great contests, the results are certainly interesting!

We’ll delve more into the AFC and NFC Championship games later in the week, but here are some initial reactions around the blogosphere from fans of the losing squads: Giants, Panthers, Titans, Chargers. Each of these teams has significant work to do in the offseason, and history tells us half of them won’t be back in the playoffs next year. Insanely early projection? Of those 4 teams, only the Chargers get back in next season. The other 3 will get squeezed out in incredibly difficult divisional races. See you in 2010!

Pat Bowlen took a chance with Mike Shannahan once upon a time, and Josh McDaniels is a great hire. Give him some time to find a defense and look out. Cutler will benefit greatly from his tutelage next season, and we know they have weapons on offense (if they can keep their RB’s healthy). The AFC West is full of young, talented teams-it’s going to get interesting out there.

Why not? Early look at next year’s Top 25 in College Football.

What in the hell is going on down in Chapel Hill? Wake Forest is ranked #4 in the country and a damn good team, but wasn’t UNC supposed to be an unstoppable juggernaut? They are going to have to get their house in order if they expect to compete for the ACC title, let alone a national championship. We can only hope that people start to see Tyler Hansborough for the fraud he is.

Awesome. Ovechkin learning how to fight from The Donald.

Some things to look for down the stretch run of the NBA regular season.
