Man, this shaping up to be an annoying week in sports. A-Rod drama, Brett Favre retiring *again*, lack of football…not cool. Anyway, in today’s links we have some obligatory Favre coverage and then we can wash our hands of him for good (I hope), although his coming back and playing for the Vikings next year would surprise absolutely no one. On to today’s linkage:

Sort of funny–the woman who supposedly swam across the Atlantic? Yeah, not so much. (Yahoo)

Lil Wayne was on ESPN’s “Around the Horn” and he won. ESPN is doing all sorts of stuff with Weezy, which I find interesting. He’s been blogging for them, now “ATH,” what’s next? Baseball Tonight? Stump The Weezy? I like Lil’ Wayne; he’s a funny dude who is a legit sports fan, so good for him. (Awful Announcing)

The Big Lead offers a useful look at the NCAA tournament field

Previews of tonight’s UNC-Duke tilt here and here. I wish it was possible for both teams to lose. (Sportsline and CNNSI)

Gang Green Nation has your Brett Favre fix covered, and Peter King performs his obligatory Favre fellatio here. (Gang Green Nation and CNNSI)

Finally, a preview and some analysis of tonight’s HUGE World Cup Qualifier between Mexico and the USA in Columbus, OH. Stars and Stripes forever! (ESPN and Yahoo!)

Update: Thanks to The Phinsider, all non-Packer fans may enjoy this image of Favre’s final play. (The Phinsider)
